KAITA carries the Oldest Daughter signature across the chest — hand-written, paired with the half-circle emblem we've used since 2012. A signature is a claim that something is true and that we'd put our name to it. This is the piece that does.

Our first long sleeve. Cut relaxed and easy from 180gsm fabric-washed organic cotton — lighter than our heavyweight tees, soft from the first wear, and made for the in-between months when a t-shirt isn't quite enough.

A note on the fit. KAITA is cut oversized through the body with a dropped shoulder and long sleeves that run past the wrist — roomier than a standard long sleeve. It is, however, cut a little narrower than our extra-oversized boyfriend tees like FLO and KAIA. If you own one of those, take your usual size here rather than sizing down.

WHY YOU'LL LIVE IN IT +
The long sleeve you reach for from April to October. It sits easy and straight through the body, the set-in sleeve falls just off the shoulder, and the sleeves run a little past the wrist so they bunch the way a good long sleeve should. The 180gsm jersey is washed before it reaches you, so it arrives soft and stays that way — light enough to layer under a jacket, substantial enough on its own. Tuck it, don't tuck it, push the sleeves up. It works either way.

FIT AND SIZING +
KAITA is cut oversized and easy — take your usual size for the intended drape. It sits a little narrower through the body than our extra-oversized boyfriend tees, so if you've sized down in FLO or KAIA before, take your usual size here instead. FABRIC & FEEL +
A 180gsm single jersey in 100% organic ring-spun combed cotton, fabric-washed before it reaches you. Lighter than our 220gsm tees — breathable, fluid, and soft against the skin from the first wear rather than the tenth. Certified organic all the way back to the soil it grew in.

A note on colour: this fabric is left natural and undyed — not colour-matched to a Pantone — so the tone can vary slightly between batches, from a softer off-white through to a creamier natural. That variation is the cotton in its truest form.

CARE +
Cold machine wash inside-out with similar colours. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Reshape and line dry in the shade. Cool iron if needed, never directly on the print.

How does KAITA fit? Oversized and easy — take your usual size.
How does it compare to KAIA or FLO? A little narrower through the body and noticeably lighter. Those are extra-oversized at 220gsm; KAITA is oversized at 180gsm, cut for layering.
Is it unisex? Yes — XS to 2XL, made for everyone.
Is it really organic? Yes. 100% GOTS-certified organic ring-spun combed cotton.
Does it contain any synthetic fibre? None. No polyester, no elastane, no plastic.
Where is it made? The cotton is woven, dyed and assembled offshore under GOTS certification. Every piece is then designed and printed here in the Byron Bay hinterland.
What's "Episode 68"? Every OD release is a numbered capsule — small runs, made with intention, and each Episode closes for good.
